ROA Off-Road is the off-road and off-grid trailer brand of RVs of America, LL, with Experience Centers in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and South Carolina. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean ROA Off-Road.

We wrote this in plain English on purpose. It explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can tell us to stop. If anything here is unclear, call us at 801-860-0035 and we will walk you through it.

The information we collect

Information you give us

Your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
What you are shopping for, including the trailers, floor plans, and options you ask about, your trade in details, and your travel plans.
Appointment requests, service requests, and warranty information.
Payment and financing information when you buy from us or apply for financing. Financing applications are handled by our lending partners, who have their own privacy practices.
Anything you send us in a form, email, text message, phone call, chat, or social media message.
Photos, video, and quotes you share with us or that we capture at events, when you give us permission to use them.

Information we collect automatically

Your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring page.
Pages you view on our sites, links you click, forms you start, and how long you stay.
Information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including advertising and analytics tools.

Information we get from others

Advertising and social platforms when you respond to one of our ads.
Lead sources and listing sites where you asked to be contacted.
Our lending, insurance, and manufacturer partners in connection with a purchase, delivery, or warranty claim.
Public and commercially available sources used to keep records accurate.

How we use your information

To answer your questions and give you the pricing, availability, and product details you asked for.
To schedule appointments, complete purchases, arrange delivery, and handle service and warranty work.
To send you marketing and sales communications when you have agreed to receive them.
To run and measure our advertising, including ads you may see on search engines and social platforms.
To improve our website, products, and the Roamer experience.
To train our Team Members and improve the quality of our conversations.
To keep our records accurate, prevent fraud, and protect our business.
To meet our legal obligations.

How we contact you

When you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about the trailers, pricing, appointments, and events you asked about.

If you agree to marketing communications, we may also call, text, and email you with marketing and sales messages. Calls and text messages may be placed or sent using automated dialing technology, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, and AI assisted voice.

Agreeing to marketing calls or texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. You can ask about a trailer, book an appointment, and complete a purchase without ever agreeing to marketing contact.

How to stop hearing from us

Text messages: reply STOP to any text from us. See our Text Message Terms.
Phone calls: tell us on any call, or use the contact information below.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or use the contact information below.
Everything at once: email info@rvsofamerica.com and ask us to stop all marketing contact.

We honor opt out requests received through any reasonable method, not just a specific keyword or link. We process them as quickly as we can and no later than 10 business days after we receive the request. If you opt out of text messages, we will also stop automated marketing calls to that number unless you tell us you still want those calls.

We keep a record of your opt out so we do not contact you on that channel again. We may still contact you about a purchase, delivery, service appointment, or warranty claim already in progress, and about anything we are legally required to tell you.

We do not sell or share your text messaging opt in data or consent with any third parties, other than the aggregators and providers who help us deliver the text messages themselves.

Recorded and monitored conversations

We may record or monitor phone calls with you for training, quality, and record keeping. We may also use automated tools to transcribe and analyze those calls so we can improve how we serve you. If a call is being recorded, we will tell you at the start of the call. If you would rather not be recorded, tell the Team Member on the call and we will make other arrangements.

Cookies, advertising, and analytics

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on our websites. Some are necessary to make the site work. Others help us understand how the site is used and show you our ads on other platforms.

We work with advertising and analytics providers, including Google and Meta, that may collect information about your activity on our sites and combine it with information from other sources to show you relevant ads. Under some state privacy laws, this counts as sharing your personal information for targeted advertising.

Who we share your information with

Service providers. Companies that help us run the business, including our customer relationship management platform, phone and text messaging platforms, dealership management system, email and website providers, payment processors, and advertising and analytics providers. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
Manufacturers, lenders, and insurers. When it is needed to complete a purchase, arrange financing or insurance, register a unit, or handle a warranty claim.
Delivery, transport, and service partners. When it is needed to get your trailer to you or keep it running.
Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our Team Members, ROAMERS, or others.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your information with unrelated companies for their own marketing.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal, tax, warranty, and record keeping obligations. Purchase and warranty records are kept longer than inquiry records because we may need them years later to support your unit. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

We keep records of your marketing consent and any opt out for as long as applicable law requires, and in some cases for at least 10 years, because some states require us to honor an opt out for that long.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls and encryption where appropriate. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise your information will never be accessed without authorization. If something happens that affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

Access. Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
Correct. Ask us to fix information that is wrong or out of date.
Delete. Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to records we are required or permitted to keep.
Opt out. Tell us to stop marketing emails, calls, or text messages.
Opt out of targeted advertising. Tell us to stop sharing your information for targeted advertising.
Withdraw consent. Take back permission you gave us at any time.

State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, including the right to a portable copy of your information, the right to opt out of profiling that has significant effects, and the right to appeal if we deny your request.

How to make a request

Email info@rvsofamerica.com or call 801-860-0035. Tell us what you are asking for. We will verify your identity before we act, usually by confirming information we already have on file. If you use an authorized agent, we will ask for proof that you gave them permission.

We will respond within the time your state law requires, generally within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need more time. If we deny your request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing info@rvsofamerica.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."

We will not deny you products or services, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality experience because you exercised these rights.

Children's privacy

Our products and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 for targeted advertising. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will take care of it.

Other websites and social platforms

Our sites and ads link to other websites and social platforms we do not control, including manufacturer sites, lender sites, and social media. Their privacy practices are their own. Read their policies before giving them your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top and post the new version here. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on our website. Your continued use of our services after we post an update means you accept it.
